For those who may have missed it, last Tuesday, June 14th was President Donald Trump’s 76th birthday.

This day,  which also appropriately falls on flag day, was celebrated by many American’s across our great nation in an organized effort to not only recognize President Trump on his birthday, but to thank him for activating and awakening the American people to the widespread corruption and subversion within our government and media.

Many states have submitted videos, their state flags and signed parchments to personally thank President Trump for giving this country back to the people. The submitted videos showcase how our states have been busy in contributing to taking our country back from those who are serving the interests of their masters rather than that of their constituents and the Constitution they have sworn an oath to uphold.

Because President Trump went first to take the hits and endure the never-ending battery of attacks from the many he has worked to expose, America’s eyes have finally been opened and the newly awakened continue to grow in numbers with each passing day.

You don’t have to like him, but if you truly take an honest assessment and ignore what the media is trying to tell you to think, you would have to at least give him credit where he has shed light on an ongoing and rapidly increasing corruption within our nation and beyond its borders. This has revealed a dark corruption that much of the general public were not even remotely aware of prior to him entering office.

Still yet, even in the face of a year of pandemic-era lock downs and a summer of violent, radical left wing riots our country was still bouncing back, things were affordable and our economy was returning to normal under Donald Trump’s leadership.

Unfortunately, personality contests and tabloid news are first world problems that we only wish we had today as we plunge headlong into becoming a third world country under a rapidly collapsing economy.

By our patronage and consent, the American people have allowed our media to abominate the presidency and the politics that govern our great nation. The media have managed to twist our political landscape into a tabloid circus-side-show residing in a banana republic court of public opinion, when their one job is, was and always will be, to simply and objectively report the news.

If there is to be anger directed towards anyone it should be pointed at the media,  corrupt politicians,  NGO’s and the contributing “stakeholders” who provide the liner notes for what the talking heads have scripted as our prescribed narrative.

Don’t let a financially vested media that acts as the mouthpiece for our corrupted government tell you how to think or feel with their state sanctioned propaganda campaigns. Look past the shiny veneer, ignore the paid celebrities, use some discernment and do your own research.

Yes I said do your own research.

Don’t you think it’s funny that the media now tells you that you are too stupid to do your own research and be able to draw your own conclusions based on available data points? Do you personally believe that? If so then I have to ask why?

Telling us that anything which doesn’t come from their approved and “trusted sources” must be a “conspiracy theory” is laughable at best.

The next time you hear them call something a “conspiracy theory” do yourself a favor and go do a deep dive on the conspiracy side of the story. I promise you wont magically turn into a frog for having had a look and you may just be surprised at the truths you find.

“But don’t you understand? You need to be coddled and protected because you’re a helpless moron. We’re going to Nerf the entire world for you and spoon feed you everything you need and some day, jack it all straight to your brain. Now shut up and don’t question what you are told you big dumb baby!”

We need to begin bridging the divide that has plagued our country and work towards rekindling a more united front. Maybe we should all go watch some post 911 footage to remind ourselves of how we all pulled together for humanity at one time not so long ago.

No one asked what political party the bleeding person next to them was affiliated with before throwing their arm over their own shoulder and helping them to safety. They just did what was right to help a fellow neighbor in a time of need. We pulled our own up by the bootstraps and volunteered our time and labor to get the our nation back on its feet again.

It’s funny how we seem to have let something with that kind of an impact get away from us in less than the remainder of our lifetime. How desensitized we have become to tragedy with much credit due to the media magic of Hollywood.

Some of you reading this may be too young to remember that time, but I assure you we actually did stuff like those things that I just said. Promise!

We have always been a nation that has had each others backs when the chips are down and it’s what we need to find our way back to. It’s unified traditions like this that keep us strong as a community and as a nation and I will be damned if we just allow what is arguably, one of our nation’s greatest virtues to be stripped from our culture because a handful of rich,  unelected dickholes want to take over the world as if they are a bunch of wacky Austin Powers villains.

All the above said, Donald J. Trump is not a god, he’s not a savior, nor is he a guru to be exalted, yet, he has opened up this writer’s eyes along with so many others to the harsh realities and challenges that we face in this world, while showing us that we have always been “the plan”.

Because at the end of the day he is just a man who put himself in the line of fire in an effort to remind us all of the power of our voices, by opening our eyes enough to make us want to use them.

To paraphrase Ben Franklin, this republic (not a democracy- fact, not opinion) is ours if we are willing to drop our differences and come together to keep it. And for that I am personally thankful!
